Experience The Many Facets of Italy

According to Italy Travel Guide, Italy is a beautiful country but is one of those countries which you probably have some questions and preconceptions about, before your coming to this special country.

A place of olive oil, pasta, wine, mafia and sunshine, roman ruins and renaissance palaces, Italy has a lot to give its tourists. Although some of these conceptions are amazing and interesting, it would be a shame if that was the only thing you come away with. Italy is certainly much more complex and stimulating than these concepts.

Italy is a country full of interesting things for the casual  and the educated tourist alike, it has deep Roman Catholic roots. The tourists can stay weeks in important tourist centers without reason to feel bored, but it is equally simple to get off the beaten track. A car rental in Italy can offer you the freedom to experience all Italy has to offer.

In the north, next to the Alps and the landscapes of the Po river, many cultural gems and highly developed industrial cities fascinate.  So, whether you are planning a ski trip to the Alps, a summer stay at the beach, a journey back in time, or even a gastronomical indulgence, you will certainly find a wide variety of choices in this exciting country.

To truly experience the “la vita Italiana” consider taking ‘the road less traveled’.  Stay at a local boutique hotel, not a global chain, rent a car and avoid the tourist bus, take part in a few guided walking tours, enjoy a spa visit, select local ‘favorite’ restaurants and select that region’s specialty, try the local wine and remember to save room for some of the wonderful pastries and desserts offered in Italy.
